Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 · Last updated: 27 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Canary uses on the website canary.dealership.biz, and why. Our approach is deliberately minimal: we place no non-essential cookies at all.

1.What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit it. Cookies are used, among other things, to make a website work, to remember preferences, or to measure how a site is used.

2.Which cookies we use

We use only strictly necessary and functional cookies. Specifically:

  • Language preference: remembers whether you want to view the site in Dutch, French, English or German, so you do not have to make that choice again on every visit.
  • Security: bot protection guards our forms against spam and automated abuse. This technology may set a technical cookie used solely for security.
  • Admin session: for our own administrators only. When an administrator logs in, a session cookie keeps them signed in. This cookie is never set for ordinary visitors.

None of these cookies require your consent under the law, because they are strictly necessary or functional.

3.Statistics without cookies

To understand how our website is used, we rely on a privacy-friendly analytics method that sets no cookies, stores no unique identifiers on your device, and does not track individual visitors. We receive only aggregated figures.

4.No cookie banner

Because we place no non-essential cookies (such as marketing or tracking cookies), we deliberately show no cookie banner. A consent request would be meaningless here. Should we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and first ask for your explicit consent via a cookie banner, before any non-essential cookie is placed.

5.Third-party services on our pages

Certain third-party services embedded in our pages may, independently of us, set cookies or receive technical information when a page loads. In particular, the map embedded in the footer of every page of this website comes from a third-party mapping provider, which may set cookies under its own responsibility as an independent controller; please refer to that provider's own cookie policy for details. We identify such services by function here, and the full list of the applications used, naming each provider, is available on request from support@forgedigital.io.

6.Your choices

You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary or functional cookies may, however, affect the proper functioning of the website (for example, remembering your language choice).

7.Contact

For questions about this Cookie Policy, you can contact us at info@forgedigital.io. You will find more information on how we process personal data in our Privacy Policy.
